         Where and when did the Anti CAA protest start?      We vividly remember that the first series of protests against the 'CAB' was organized by a group of citizens under the leadership of Dr Haren Alhas Sir (later fighting regularly for the "Anti-Amendment Platform" and the Kisan Samiti led by Akhail Gogoi (several ethnic groups, including and the Youth Council) .Asu was out on the street fighting the 'k' later. Disappointed by Asu's work, I personally wrote in the newspaper criticizing Asu., Asu's participation gave some strength to the protests.   Assamese IIT students also protested against the 'keb' while I was studying research at IIT Bombay. The government then arrested Akal Gogoi and kept him in prison for a long time.
